Discovery Green ~ FUN!!

Mist Tree is super neat....

...but the dancing water fountain at Discovery Green is SO cool!!!

I thought a photo entry about all the fun we had would nice.

We have been there only a few times but every time we go the kids love it!!

I am grateful some very intelligent, big hearted person designed this for everyone to enjoy FREE!

Each time the kids find new things to do with the water, crawl under, stand over, shower in, leap over, attempt to avoid getting wet... etc..

Smiles for miles. Kids just love this place!

Have you been to a cool fountain you can play in?

The Massachusetts Fund

Cape Cod Massachusetts/ Manomet  is where the Albani Family Reunion is every 5 years!

La mia Famiglia!!

We have people that travel from all over... so to miss this would be so sad.

Every year before we would just drive.
But since Texas is a tad bit further than Ohio, we will have to fly if we want to attend next year...
HOLY COW that means we will need to buy 10 tickets!!!!

We will need appox. $4000 to fly our family round trip, and that's not including our lodging!!
So my very helpful and intelligent kids came up with the idea to make a Massachusetts Fund Jar and put any and all extra money saved or found into the jar.

I am the proudest Mom to share that all my kids emptied there pockets and couch cushions to add to the jar, as a matter of fact, some of the kids even have gone as far as adding the money they earn from chores, babysitting, and helping others.

Jon is so impressed by the kids, that he has agreed to put any money that we save by using coupons into the jar!! We just put it together less then a month ago and we already have at least $105, now that may not sound like much but we sure impressed with ourselves!

My Grandmother and her sister Maddy at the last reunion. She will be missed next year.

Love these ladies, missing Aunt Georgie's great stories and accent.

Good times with the cousins

Feagains and Lanni's

Grammy's part of the reunion
I cannot imagine missing a reunion, there are too many wonderful and interesting relatives that we only get to see once every 5 years.  Sadly we lose many between each, so we take pictures to make all the memories easier to remember.
We are a very large family, and I am grateful to know I have someone to lean on no matter our distance!
I love my family! Thank you to all that take the time to come, meet and hug my children.

Does your family have a reunion?

Short and Sweet

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ok i just made myself laugh just typing the title...

Because this entry is going to be short, but the topic is also short and sweet.

Jon is a Starbucks addict... I mean he reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyy loves it! So he is often, (most days)seen holding a Venti size Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Latte.

I also like Starbucks a lot. However, due to my pregnancy I do not enjoy one of my 2 favorites... Cinnamon Dolce Latte, and the Java Chip Frappuccino.

Cinnamon Dolce Latte

Java Chip Frappuccino® Blended Coffee

One day while at the grocery store the craving hit... and I mentioned that I shouldn't because I'm pregnant, and the wonderful barista tells me to have a Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino, it is cream based -not coffee

Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino® Blended Crème

 I was SOOOO excited!!!!
But then he made my day with the size of my drink...

Who even knew they had such a small drink that tasted so fabulous and was better for baby!

He was the best barista EVER, especially after he handed me my actual cup...

I didn't even have any kids with me to enjoy the baby sized Starbucks!

Have you had one of these 'leftover' sized drinks?

Hidden Treasures

In a well organized house (which I would consider mine) with many kids using their imagination, and playing games such as house, school, store, sharks, battles, hide and seek, treasure hunts, .... okay you get my point. I still seem to find the strangest things in the oddest places...

However, sometimes I cannot even use my imagination to figure out why or how a certain item found would have ended up there...

But my favorite find is when I discover a whole hidden treasure of things one child is collecting, and they are ever so random to me...

I enjoy finding these hidden treasures around the house, it reminds me that they are only kids and they have the best imagination, that most 'grown ups' can't find anymore. I love all the little things about the kids even if they make messes and drive me crazy sometimes!!

Do you find hidden treasures around your house?
